| Samantha Lane Hair Studio opened in 2003 and has already made a very large impact in the town of Kincardine. Not only does Samantha offer world class service and products, but she has become a very active volunteer and uses her skills to enhance community life in Kincardine. As a track and field coach and committee member of the Special Olympics, she helped young people achieve goals. As an active Big Sister, she has made a positive impact on the lives of many young girls in the area, hosting hair parties at her salon and giving complimentary hair cuts to little sisters. Samantha Lane Hair Studio also sponsors a local youth competitive piper and Samantha is a volunteer for the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band. Samantha and her husband are also hosts for the Canada World Youth Program and are currently hosting two young adults from Thailand and Canada. Samantha works hard to have people of all ages leave the Samantha Lane Hair Studio with a positive self-image. She extends this attitude beyond the doors of the salon and offers her wealth of talent and compassion to those that need it the most. It is for these reasons that the 2004 Corporate Citizen of the Year is the Samantha Lane Hair Studio |
