| Matt Carr started Carr’s Customizing after looking for employment and finding that he had the skills and ability to provide a service that no other business in the area offered, automotive speciality parts. After a great deal of planning, long hours and hard work, Carr’s Customizing has now been in business for over a year exceeding the expectations Matt had set in his business plan. Part of Matt’s success can be attributed to his involvement in the community and his determination to build a business that others take notice of and that he can be proud of. Matt is also taking steps to ensure that Carr’s Customizing continues to succeed. He is currently attending trade school to become a licensed mechanic while running a business full time. It is this dedication and drive to succeed that is the reason that the 2004 Young Entrepreneur of the Year is Matt Carr of Carr’s Customizing. |
